Install and circulate cleaning chemistry. Pressure purge all used fluid and contaminants. Install fresh synthetic fluid and conditioners.
The transmission is exhibiting a slight shudder from the torque converter clutch under certain driving conditions. Confirmed this condition by viewing live data for torque converter clutch desired vs. actual slip. Every time the shudder was felt, the actual slip rpm would jump up. These issues are normally resolved with a transmission service, using the proper fluid for the 8 speed transmission. Recommending a transmission service.

Includes installation of rear premium brake pads, brake rotors and hardware as required. Clean and lubricate caliper slide mechanisms. Clean and repack wheel bearing if required. Adjust parking brake. Bleed and adjust brake system. Perform Relearn procedure if required.

Transmission Diagnosis – Looking at live data for transmission there is a correlation between the rumble strip noise being heard and the torque converter slip. The slip speed increase to 100% then drops sharply back to 0-10% The misfire is actually converter shutter. Technician did graph all engine cylinder and was unable to log any misfires on test drive.
