    • Diagnose – Coolant Overheating Message – The coolant is not low and the reservoir is full. The engine temperature gauge on the dash doesn't seem to be working. It will not come off of the lowest temperature level. The heater is working great.
    • THERMOSTAT &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace – V6
    • Flush your vehicle's entire cooing system. Restore coolant and necessary additives. Install special conditioners to protect your car's cooling system. Recommended service interval: Every 2 years or 30,000 miles.
    • Found code P1289 in PCM – Cylinder Head Temp Sensor Circuit High – The technician did not detect any circuit problems. Viewing live data, CHT sensor pid seemed accurate. Cooling fans are functioning properly. The technician allowed the engine to warm up until the cooling fans turned on. They went to high speed and did not turn off. CHT pid was staying at 194 degrees. Upper radiator hose was hot and the lower radiator hose was cold to the touch. This indicates no flow of coolant through radiator due to a stuck closed thermostat. Replace thermostat and perform a BG cooling system service.
    • COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR – Remove & Replace – V6 Cylinder Head Temperature – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifolds.] – [Includes: Component test.]
    • THERMOSTAT &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace – V6 – WARRANTY – Thermostat not opening, vehicle never left the shop.
